Election 2020: The People Have Spoken is our final episode for season 1 of our podcast. In a sense, it’s a cliff hanger because the current president did not concede the election. We know that plans are afoot to continue his efforts to disrupt the democratic and orderly transition of administrations. However, hopefully, his corrupt administration will be ending. Our guest Larry Hamm, mentioned the Tilden-Hayes compromise of 1877. Unless you are a history buff, you may not know what that reference is. But, it also dealt with a disputed election ten years after the Civil War ended. You can read more about it here. The states that caused the conflict seem familiar!
Meanwhile, the COVID-19 pandemic is still raging through our communities, but two vaccines have arrived. We still have chaos, but there’s also hope that the nightmare will be over this time next year.
We are looking forward to sharing great discussions with you in season 2. In the meantime, please have a safe and peaceful holiday season and enjoy Election 2020: The People Have Spoken.
